Radiology Associates of North Texas Doctors Named Physicians of the Year

Radiology Associates of North Texas Dr. Matthew Fiesta and Dr. A.Rahman Quadeer named Physicians of the Year at Texas Health Fort Worth and Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Grapevine.

Dr. Fiesta and Dr. Quadeer are both members of the Vascular & Interventional Specialists division at Radiology Associates of North Texas.  These physicians are dedicated to helping patients receive the best possible outcomes through the use of minimally invasive procedures.

To be in the running for Physician of the Year you must exhibit quality care and innovation within your sphere of influence and also serve the community well. Both doctors exhibit those qualities with each having over 10 years’ experience in providing quality patient care and pushing medical innovations forward within interventional radiology. In addition to their titles as Physicians of the year, Dr. Fiesta is also the Co-Director of the Harris Methodist Fort Worth Stroke Program and Dr. Quadeer serves as Co-Section Chief over Interventional Radiology for Radiology Associates of North Texas.

“Neurointerventional Radiology is a specialty for which I have a tremendous passion. I go into each case giving everything that I’ve got, and I realize that the patient’s care goes beyond the angio suite. I value the time spent educating patients and their families about each disease process.  Our specialty is changing rapidly, and it is a privilege to play a critical role in a growing field,” said Dr. Fiesta.

Both doctors share the same passion in putting patient needs first and making each individual feel comfortable. Dr. Quadeer mentioned that his life philosophy of doing what’s right is the same philosophy he has in his approach to helping patients. “When I’m about to operate on a patient I make sure to take a moment and think of the person I am helping. I remind myself that they are a human being and they took time out of their schedule to get care. I know that they feel vulnerable and I always strive to treat them like family,” Dr. Quadeer said.
