Emergency Radiology

Emergency radiology physicians provide high-quality and timely overnight coverage to hospitals. They specialize in interpreting medical images obtained during emergency situations, such as trauma cases or acute illnesses.

Their rapid assessments aid in diagnosing conditions like:

  • Fractures
  • Internal injuries
  • Infections

Their ability to quickly assess these situations enables swift and effective medical interventions crucial for patient care in urgent settings.

Emergency exams are read from one of our state-of-the-art, multi-suite teleradiology reading facilities in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. Radiology Associates of North Texas is staffed 24/7/365 to provide the best service at any hour of the day or night.

Fellowship Trained Expertise

The size of our group allows us to offer fellowship-trained experts in nearly every subspecialty area. Although all of our Emergency Radiologists are qualified to read a wide variety of subspecialty exams, we are often able to match a fellowship-trained radiologist with the appropriate type of study.

Specialized, collaborative coverage

There is no “typical” night in trauma radiology – our emergency radiologists are ready and able to handle the wide variety of emergency radiology exams that we receive. In the event of a particularly difficult or challenging case, there is no shortage of colleagues to collaborate with at any hour of the day or night.
