Cybersecurity Director

The Cybersecurity Director will lead our organization's cyber defense strategy. This role is pivotal in safeguarding our sensitive information and ensuring the resilience of our cybersecurity infrastructure. Leading a team of talented engineers, the Cybersecurity Director will orchestrate strategic initiatives, risk assessments, and incident response plans and will work closely with department heads to embed cybersecurity best practices into our daily operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of cybersecurity engineers.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to integrate cybersecurity best practices into the organization’s overall operations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement proactive measures to safeguard sensitive information.
  • Evaluate and recommend security technologies and tools to enhance the organization’s security infrastructure. Collaborate with the IT team to implement and maintain security controls and measures.
  • Assess and manage the security risks associated with third-party vendors and partners using CORL Technologies. Ensure that third-party relationships adhere to the organization’s security standards.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging threats to continuously enhance the cybersecurity program.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of incident response plans and protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a cybersecurity leader with a focus on strategic planning.
  • Strong understanding of information security principles and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
