Our robust pediatric section (with subspecialty support in IR and Neuro) is expanding across the DFW metroplex. Roles exist for those looking to practice a mix of pedi and adult radiology or for those who desire up to 100% pediatric reads.

Physician Assistant: Interventional & Diagnostic Radiology

This position will start a 12 month training program with hospital and clinic rotations through Fluoroscopy and Interventional Radiology. Training takes place in Fort Worth. Once training has been completed, the majority of the PA’s time will be spent covering multiple sites in Fort Worth with some coverage in Dallas, rotating with a team of PAs. The schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. There is no required call, nights, or weekends as part of this position.

Radiology Associates of North Texas P.A. has an opening for a full-time Interventional / Diagnostic Radiology Physician Assistant. This position will start a 12 month training program with hospital and clinic rotations through Fluoroscopy and Interventional Radiology. Training takes place in Fort Worth. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform H&P’s, consents, pre/post procedural patient care
  • Patient admissions, discharges, inpatient/outpatient consults and follow-ups
  • Diagnostic and vascular interventional radiology procedures (not all inclusive) including preliminary diagnostic interpretation reports, Barium enemas, esophograms, upper GI series, arthrograms, myelograms, lumbar punctures, central venous access, biopsies, drainages, paracentesis, and thoracentesis

Minimum Education, Certification, and Prior Experience Required:

  • Master’s in physician assistant studies or equivalent from an accredited program
  • ACLS/BLS and PALS certification
  • Current medical license (ideally Texas) in good standing without disciplinary action
  • NCCPA board certification
  • New graduates welcome to apply

Physician Assistant: Pediatric/Adult Interventional & Diagnostic Radiology

The position will start with a 4-6 month training program learning and working alongside our radiologists and APPs. Training length will vary based on experience. Once training has been completed, the PA will be working at Medical City Dallas and Cook Prosper. The schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. There is no call, no nights, or weekends as part of this position.

Radiology Associates of North Texas P.A. has an opening for a full time Physician Assistant practicing Diagnostic/Interventional radiology. The ideal candidate will have both pediatric and adult experience.

The position will start with a 4-6 month training program learning and working alongside our radiologists and APPs. Training length will vary based on experience. Once training has been completed, the PA will be working at Medical City Dallas and Cook Prosper. The schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm. There is no call, no nights, or weekends as part of this position.

Based out of the Tyler, TX pod, this remote position provides excellent work/life balance and a highly desirable schedule. This role has no weekend reading requirements, 12 weeks of vacation, and an excellent benefit package.
