Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join our team full-time. This role involves providing critical technical support to physicians during vascular, diagnostic, and operating room imaging procedures. The IR Tech is responsible for performing specialized radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental protocols, while maintaining a high standard of patient care and technical competency.

Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist to join our team full-time. This role involves providing critical technical support to physicians during vascular, diagnostic, and operating room imaging procedures. The IR Tech is responsible for performing specialized radiographic procedures in accordance with departmental protocols, while maintaining a high standard of patient care and technical competency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians and physician assistants during interventional radiology procedures
  • Provide diagnostic imaging support, including body and organ scans
  • Maintain a high level of competency in multiple imaging modalities (CT, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, MRI)
  • Operate and manage ancillary equipment used in invasive procedures (e.g., ablation units, navigation systems, thrombectomy devices)
  • Demonstrate expertise in vascular and cross-sectional anatomy, ultrasound imaging, and interventional techniques
  • Support diagnostic and therapeutic interventional procedures such as angiography, image-guided biopsies, and fluid drainages
  • Operate digital vascular imaging systems, ultrasound equipment, CT, and intraoperative MRI independently
  • Ensure safe, efficient use of imaging equipment and adhere to best practices for all diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures

Qualifications:

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Certifications (Required):

  • Active Texas State RT certification (TX-RT-CERT)
  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT-R)
  • BLS/CPR for Healthcare Providers (current)

Preferred:

  • Advanced ARRT certification in Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography (CIR) or Vascular Interventional Radiography (VIR)
  • CT experience or certification is a plus

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist

Skills:

Medical Procedure Scheduler – Onsite

Medical City Dallas
Responsible for scheduling IR procedures, and supporting the physicians, nurses, and patients of the IR department.

Summary: Responsible for scheduling IR procedures, and support the physicians, nurses, and patients of the IR department.

Role Detail: This role is fully onsite, Monday – Friday. The work site for this role is Medical City Dallas.

Essential Functions:

– Schedule patients for IR procedures, including coordinating with hospital anesthesia, imaging, specialists, hospital availability, etc..
Contact patients, Doctor’s offices, insurance companies, Third Party Administrator demographics, to coordinate authorizations for patient cases and prepare for procedures
– Responsible for coordinating and scheduling diagnostic imaging procedures across all imaging modalities, including Interventional Radiology and the Neuro Intervention Radiology clinic.
– Obtain updated patient health history, demographics, known allergies, medications, and conditions
– Act as liaison between referring doctor’s office and patient by handling all questions or concerns prior to the procedure to maximize the physicians’ time to be maximized for procedures
– Scheduling in EMR system, coding, paperwork/chart
– Ensure that areas/resources of hospital are available at time of service, without conflicts
– Coordinates with referring physician’s office and patient to ensure they are instructed to stop appropriate medications and ensure clearance is obtained
– Ensure patient has received specific prep instructions, along with time of procedure, what to expect the day of the procedure, and where to check in
– Obtain prior imaging, from outside facilities, to be available prior to scheduling the procedure
– Arrange admission to the hospital and enter information into the hospital information system
– Reschedule or follow-up with patients as directed

Qualifications:

Education:

  • CPT and ICD-10 certification preferred
  • High school graduate or GED

Experience:

  • One to three years related medical office or clinical assistant experience in a high-volume environment, or equivalent combination of education and medical office experience
  • Surgery coordination and scheduling preferred, ability to learn/understand and coordinate different teams involved in the patient surgeries

Skills/Knowledge:

  • Medical terminology required – ability to understand and communicate medical procedures and coordinate the scheduling process
  • Excellent communication skills – ability to communicate with doctors, patients, insurance, hospital scheduling, etc.. to ensure a safe and effective surgery scheduling process.
  • Must be detail oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and personalities daily.

Network Administrator

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Administrator to join our dynamic IT team. As a key player in our organization, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, administration, security, and support of our network environments across the company. You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies and be integral in ensuring our network systems are secure, efficient, and resilient.

You’ll work with cutting-edge technologies and be integral in ensuring our network systems are secure, efficient, and resilient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software
  • Administer network and telecommunication systems following ITIL best practices for Change Management
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for network and telecommunication system architecture, processes, and procedures
  • Coordinate with vendors, including data centers, for system and hardware implementation, maintenance, and repairs
  • Monitor and analyze network and server performance to ensure optimal operation
  • Implement, monitor, and support network security solutions
  • Oversee the administration of our cloud VoIP solution
  • Proactively identify and address security vulnerabilities
  • Plan for network capacity and storage requirements
  • Develop and test disaster recovery plans and procedures
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to other assigned duties and projects
  • Ensure regular and timely attendance in all aspects of the role

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Preferred: Cisco CCNA certification (minimum), Cisco CCNP or Juniper equivalent routing/switching
  • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in network administration, primarily in a Cisco route/switch environment

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong expertise in networking switch configuration and troubleshooting (e.g., VLANs, spanning tree, trunks, etherchannel, QoS)
  • Extensive knowledge of Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms (preferred)
  • Intermediate working knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., EIGRP, OSPF, BGP) and related troubleshooting
  • Experience with enterprise network functions such as DNS and DHCP (Windows server environment is a plus)
  • Proficiency in network security/firewalls (access-lists, IPSec VPN tunnels, NAT/PAT, certificates)
  • Familiarity with cloud networking concepts and architecture, especially Azure
  • Experience with network monitoring and logging solutions
  • Knowledge of RADIUS configuration for wireless and network device authentication (Windows server preferred)
  • Experience with VoIP solutions, such as RingCentral, is a plus
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Capability to lift and install network/server equipment
