Diagnostic Radiology
Diangostic radiologists utilize various imaging modalities to see inside the body and assess or diagnose the patient’s condition. Radiologists provide direction to the radiation technologists who operate the imaging equipment to achieve hiqh quality results.
Most common body imaging exams include:
X-ray exams
Computed Tomography (CT) exams
MRI exams
Ultrasound exams
The radiologist reviews the images and provides a written assessment to the referring physician who will then decide on a course of treatment.
