As a radiology practice, we do not always have an opportunity to interact directly with our patients.  Radiology is often considered a “hidden specialty,” since our physicians spend the majority of their time in dark, solitary rooms pouring over images and generating reports.   Without direct patient interaction, it can be very difficult for our staff to have a full understanding of the care our patients are receiving at the facilities where their imaging is being performed.
